What I don’t understand is why do so many sisters go into secular education? Why go to college? I mean, for men I can understand because they’ll need to earn a living, but why the sisters? Now you might say, “Ok, NaseehaMan, then if they don’t go to school, then what’ll they do? Sit home all day?” Well, how about getting an Islamic education? It would be SOOO much more useful for you. You sisters could be a new a generation of scholars, bringing up your children in the right way with the correct Islam. You could be the key to fighting off ignorance in Muslim communities. But instead, you opt to wasting your time learning things you’ll probably never use. And why? It’s not like you NEED to work, right? I beseech you to take the more beneficial path.

Yeah, so on Friday, my relatives came over from Toronto. My uncle, or my dad’s brother (in Urdu, we called that chacha). He has two small daughters that play with my little sister. They came to visit my brother at the hospital. They went to a potluck on Saturday at my other uncle’s house. There was an important basketball game coming on the same day — Indiana Pacers versus the Boston Celtics. Indiana won the game and advanced to the second round against the Pistons. We all wanted that to happen since it’s a big rivalry and all. So anyways, they were watching the game at the potluck, and I was watching the game at home because I didn’t go.
Then on Sunday, my brother came home from the hospital and my uncle and his family left back to Toronto the same day. My sisters and everybody prepared these “welcome back” papers, signs, and balloons for my brother. I was happy to see him back also.
Then on Monday, it was the first game of the Indiana versus Detroit series. Some of my cousins came over and we watched the game. There are three people rooting for Indiana — me, one brother, and one of the cousins — and there were two people rooting for Detroit — my other brother, and my other cousin. Detroit beat Indiana by like 20 points. There’s another game on Wednesday; that’s tomorrow. I think Indiana will win that one.

On Tuesday, I had a very busy and tiring day. First, I woke up 10:30 a.m. in the morning, went to the bathroom, got ready and stuff. Then my mom got ready. I had an appointment that day at the Muscular Dystrophy Association clinic at 12:30 p.m. The place was about an hour away. We left the house at about 11:30 a.m. We stayed at the clinic until about three o’clock during which time we met different types of specialists. The physical therapist was the most helpful.
Then from there we went to the hospital to visit my brother. He’s still at the hospital, because he had a stomach surgery. While we were there, Umayer came to visit him also. We left my brother a little time after five o’clock.
By the time we got home, I was completely exhausted. The wheelchair at the MDA clinic and the one at the hospital were both really uncomfortable. I don’t know what it is with wheelchairs, but none of them ever seem to have a high back or a headrest for neck and head support. I think that’s kind of messed up. They just sort of assume that everybody can hold their necks and heads on their own. I mean, it’s a hospital, remember? So yeah, anyways, I was so tired that I went straight to bed when I got home.
And the next day, Wednesday, I threw up again.

LOL. I read this funny thing today.
http://www.blogthings.com/Video-Games.html
Your wife tells you that you are, and you two kids; Mario, and Sonic; agree with her.
Whenever something bad happens you reach for the pause button.
You can microwave and eat a pizza pop using only your feet.
You’ve spent so much time playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 — you actually taught youself how to skateboard.
You’ve worn out the buttons in the elevator of your apartment.
You’ve decided you won’t go outside anymore due to the ‘tacky graphics, poor sound and low playability.’
You’ve moved your PS2 into the bathroom — just in case you make it to the next level on Vice City.
Your hands are so gnarled from gripping the controller, you can’t even tie your shoes.
You ask your doctor how many lives you have left.
You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends who are addicted to video games.

Aw man, like, yesterday, I threw up in the morning. And the day before yesterday, I threw up too. I don’t know what it is, but nowadays, whenever I take my tube feed, I start to feel really nauseous after about an hour.
I don’t know what it is, but I heard that people like to hear about my handicapped life. Something called “human interest”, I think. So maybe I’ll start writing more blog entries now. Or maybe not.
Anyways, I don’t have much to write, or at least I can’t think of anything. But I felt I should write something since I haven’t made a post in about over a week. So this is it.
