Thanks for starting an interesting debate. Whilst the language is a little blunt, it does successfully ask Men to account for their actions given their Responsibilities. These responsibilies do not merely come as a result of Testosterone and are not absolved by it either. Any Man thinking singularly with his testosterone shouldnt be trusted - which some would say causes temporary madness. Testosterone should be a tool - a vehicle - a horse - under the control of Man. Paradoxically, the inverse takes place and the Horse is actually riding the Man instead of the other way around.
Chivalry makes the man - testosterone helps in developing it - its a tool, not the goal.

assalaamu 'alaikum,

i apologize - in islam, i know that sexual issues are discussed in a mature fashion; this was actually not a sexual issue but a gender issue (but since the language was blunt, it came off with more sexual overtones) which i dont think is forbidden to discuss

but i do thank you for your comment because it is true that often behind the "veil" of the internet, you tend to be more free than you would in the physical presence of the opposite gender

so jazaakallaahu khayran for your reminder

I find it uncomfortable why religious minded sisters would discuss the above quote with religious minded brothers. Should we not have a certain level of modesty in speech with each other. Modesty is not only about covering our awra. Please forgive me if I offended anyone as this is not my intention, but just a reminder to us all.

hey, i never said there was anything wrong with it - but the quote was like a "caveat emptor" (that's "buyer beware" for you, sas) for the girls out there, a very stereotypical one, yes, but this fact still ends up surprising girls, who are generally dumb
